One popular option is becoming a bus driver. Bus drivers transport people from one location to another, and they must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). In order to obtain a CDL, applicants must be at least 21 years old and pass a written exam, as well as a skills test. Once you have your CDL, you will need to keep up with your training by taking refresher courses every few years.

Another option for those interested in the transportation industry is becoming a truck driver. Truck drivers typically haul goods or materials over long distances. Like bus drivers, truck drivers must also possess a valid CDL. The requirements for obtaining a CDL are similar to those for becoming a bus driver; however, the skills test for truckers is slightly more difficult than the one for buses. As with any other career choice, it is important that prospective truckers research different companies before choosing one to work for - each company has its own set of rules and regulations that employees must follow.
