The transportation industry in Seattle is a vast and varied one, with many different job options available. Whether you're interested in working on the water, on the roads, or in the air, there's sure to be a transportation-related job that's right for you.
Water: The maritime industry is a vital part of Seattle's economy, and there are many different types of jobs available related to this sector. If you're interested in working on boats or other vessels, you could find work as a deckhand, engineer, mate, or captain. Or perhaps you'd prefer to work ashore in a related field such as shipbuilding or repairs? There are also numerous jobs available with ferry companies or other water-based transportation providers.
Roads: Of course, not all transportation takes place on the water; plenty happens on land as well!
