A Day In the Life Supervise crew and ensure safety and productivity on installation of various glazing systems including:

curtain wall, storefront, doors and assemblies, etc.

Manage the direction and timely completion of jobs while adhering to specifications, budget and material requirements.

Conduct safety meetings and workplace assessments/inspections

Identify quantity and scope changes to the contract and communicate to Supervisor

Monitor equipment utilization and maintenance

Serve as a main contact for field personnel and Project Managers

What We Are Seeking 5-7+ years of commercial glass and glazing experience with 2+ years experience leading a crew preferred

Ability to safely work at heights

Ability to instruct and lead all glaziers on the crew

Can perform physical activities on a regular basis

Analyze information and evaluate problems

Strongand effective communication with all members of project team

Safely operate mechanical devices and equipment

Knowledge of glazing terms

Knowledge of glass layouts and systems

Ability to read blueprints, detail drawing and must be able to create your own fabrication sketch

Experience working with MSDS sheets

Must understand the importance of OSHA safety protocols, material data sheets, daily reports, site plans, specs, RFI, ASI, ECTAssist in drilling, cutting, and hardware installation for glass panels and frames.
