Job Summary

The IT business partner serves as a liaison and IT representative to core business units within Air

Methods. Provides collaborative support to identify opportunities, align roadmaps, and plan and prioritize work to achieve corporate goals. Keeps IT focus on the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations and helps evolve early stage business ideas into future-growth initiatives, leveraging process and technology as a key differentiator for success.

Works daily with the business areas for which they are responsible, translating business needs and priorities to process and technology solutions. Seeks to identify challenges and opportunities, plan and build roadmaps, prioritize and execute projects, and deliver new capabilities to support business needs.

A focus on solving business problems and ensuring that technical solutions reflect the business needs while aligning to overall organization strategy including architecture, services, process and governance.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Understand business partner priorities and objectives – analyze data, process and technology
  • Work with stakeholders to define user requirements and draft process and technical documentation
  • Map objectives to solutions – Define and document roadmaps and plans into project work
  • Partner with technical and project management teams to deliver project work
  • Support quality services delivery and support including application configuration, administration, testing monitoring and continual process improvement
  • Train technical and business teams on technology, products and services
  • Define and measure KPI’s
  • Build and implement a domain blueprint for each line of business supported
  • Develop system integration diagrams and workflows to support effective documentation of services provided
  • Partner with the PMO around project planning, delivery and reporting
  • Prioritize and report on work, solve dependency and resource issues and constraints.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling - 10%

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university and five to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6-8 years of analyst and project management experience.

  • Advanced customer service and phone skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills including clear, concise and structured responses
  • Ability to speak to technical and business stakeholders and users, and interact at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to map multiple and complex business processes to applications and technical processes
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task and meet deadlines in a constantly changing environment
  • Gather, document, analyze and recognize requirements and patterns in data and process, coordinating between disparate business processes, perspectives and data points, and recommend strategies
  • Experience ideating solutions to problems relating to technical processes/workflows and application/data infrastructure.
  • Ability to translate and document analysis into business, process and technology solutions.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Visio, Word, Excel, Power

Point and Outlook

  • Experience building and managing data and process flows within diagram tools
  • Experience working in or leading agile teams in Scrum or Kanban

Salary Range

$100,000 to $120,000
