The Clinical RN Director Labor Delivery will have the opportunity to work for a 300+ bed, Magnet designed acute care hospital located in Maryland. This acute care hospital is known for being one of the top hospitals in Maryland, recently received a “Grade A” by Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade, Healthgrades “America’s 100 Best” for their several surgical procedures, and has been listed on Becker's Hospital Review “100 Great Hospitals in America."

The Clinical Nurse Director Labor Delivery will join a fast paced Women and Children Services department which is home to their Labor Delivery, Mother Baby and Level III NICU. Reporting to the Service Line Director of Women, Children and Infants, the Clinical RN Director will oversee the 10+ bed Labor Delivery department that supports over 3,000 annual births.

The Labor and Delivery Clinical Nurse Director will be responsible for several Assistant Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses 75+ FTE and ancillary staff. The Clinical RN Director Labor Delivery will provide both administrative and clinical support for the department; including managing the budget, updating policy procedures, department staffing, preparing for upcoming accreditation and surveys, and cross collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Ideally the Clinical Nurse Director Labor Delivery will be up to date on best practices, offer a clinical background working in a fast paced Labor Delivery department, and have previous hospital-based management experience.
