The

Enterprise Cloud Architect will be a critical part of the

IT department reporting to the VP of Enterprise Architecture and Engineering. In this role, you will be proactively guiding the enterprise through technology transformation and optimization initiatives. You will work closely with the Enterprise Infrastructure team and other parts of IT and the business, to develop a long-term cloud strategy and tactical plans to help solve critical business needs and challenges.

Driving our Cloud adoption strategy is critical to Global’s continued success.

Champion Global’s Digital transformation and cloud first adoption strategy, optimizing the company's cloud infrastructure, ensuring that it is scalable, secure, and cost effective.

Partner with Enterprise Infrastructure team to analyze, design and implement Azure Active Directory (AAD), including its integrations with other on premise and Saa

S applications and systems such as Sales Force, Service Now, Workday, and more.

Develop a roadmap to lead Global’s hybrid data center and disaster recovery strategy and migration to cloud.

Assess existing Saa

S, hosted and on-prem environments and recommend improvements or optimizations to enhance performance, scalability, and security.

Lead, define and influence strategic technology architectural direction across the company working with leadership, peers, and business partners.

Partner with technical/business stakeholders on key initiatives to define requirements, create detailed architecture documentation, contribute to cost benefit analysis, and provide roadmaps for implementation to achieve the organization's targeted business outcomes.

Research and evaluate current and emerging cloud technologies and services to stay current on industry trends and best practices, and to apply those to enable new and evolving business and operating models.

Manage relationships with cloud service providers and vendors.

Provide deliverables such as standard definitions, reference models and solution architecture designs aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision and to support architectural governance.

Ensure that solutions and technology recommendations follow and adhere to technical architecture standards.

Support and mentor team members on cloud infrastructure best practices.“Fuel” for

QUALIFICATIONS10+ years of IT and business/industry work - Broad experience and understanding of Information Technology domains such as Cloud, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Application Development, Data Management, Database, Agile methodologies, etc. in a large, enterprise environment.7+ years of experience working in a Cloud Architect role, designing, and deploying scalable, secure cloud-based solutions.

Excellent working knowledge of primary cloud platform providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).Desired, but not required:

Certifications on one or more public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification highly desirable.

Excellent understanding of cloud security and cloud native services - e.g. (AWS - EC2, RDS, S3, VPC) (Azure - Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, Azure AD).Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure components (network, compute, storage, load balancers).Proven track record in managing and leading hybrid data center implementations and migrations to cloud.

Experience architecting and implementing Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (AAD) is desirable.

Working knowledge of cloud computing technologies, trends, best practices and standards

Ability to effectively drive business, culture and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment.

Experience in strategic technology planning and execution.

Can think strategically and incorporate business needs into technical roadmaps, ability to execute on project objectives.

Experience with defining principles, guidelines, standards, and architectural patterns to support IT governance alignment.

Energy and/or retail industry knowledge is preferred but not required.

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience/related discipline
