As a Store Food Safety Coordinator, you will be the subject-matter expert on food safety guidelines and help raise the level of knowledge and education on proper procedures and food handling, across the store.

You will support store and divisional leadership, as well as partner with corporate areas and outside agencies to train employees on properly executing food safety and quality assurance initiatives, perform audits, and to help reduce risk factors for both employees and customers.

What will I do?

Collaborate with Store and Divisional leadership, corporate partners, and outside agencies to educate and train employees and perform audits relating to food safety and quality assurance.

Assist in development, design, delivery, and implementation of food safety training and education

Measure results and assist managers in developing corrective action and preventive measures to address any food safety concerns

Respond to questions and help employees address issues as the store subject matter expert

Work with both internal and external partners to ensure programs meet or exceed HACCP and Good Retailing Practices

Measure results and take corrective action to address Corporate Food Safety Assessments concerns; communicate and champion necessary change to enhance food safety

Required Qualifications:1 or more years of experience leading a team in a professional setting

Computer skills

Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements

Experience working in food service
