Position Overview:

This position can be based out of any of the 8 states we operate in including Washington, Oregon, California, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, Oklahoma, or Kansas. The position requires 10 - 15% travel to dental offices for onsite support.

The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for leading technical projects within our organization. This position oversee the project life cycle, from planning and design to implementation and evaluation, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.

The Senior Technical Project Manager plays a critical role in the success of an organization’s technical projects and the role requires excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as extensive technical knowledge and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple complex platform programs/projects and enhancements from initiation through delivery

Engage with functional leaders, technology vendors, engineering and customer support teams to create, align, and execute project plans

Communicate program/project status to key stakeholders and driving the execution of all assigned project components

Manage programs/projects from initial planning through delivery, including project change control, status reporting, team coordination, acceptance testing, and issue/risk mitigation and resolution

Work with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives

Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan

Prepare budgets, and track project costs to achieve the targeted budget

Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards through the execution of the project

Analyze business process issues collaborating with management, departments, and customers to identify requirements and specifications

Ensure that all relevant user groups are involved in the project/product selection process, including community leadership where applicable, and operational stakeholders

Background and Experience:

BA/BS or MS degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science fields or similar

PMP certification is preferred

5+ years of experience delivering and overseeing IT projects

Significant experience with technical and cloud system environments

Skilled at developing and maintaining strong internal relationships in a multi-site environment

Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences at all levels

Empathy for business partners and the drive to help them achieve their goals

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $105,000
