JOB SUMMARY

The Apprentice in Refrigeration provides support to an installation team, while also learning the trade. This is a job that may require overnight, and evening work hours. This individual will travel to job sites located throughout Colorado, and work on short as well as long term projects.

A FEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install refrigeration equipment such as:display case drains, walk in box drains, overhead hangers, and piping, etc. All while under the supervision and guidance of a Sr Technician.

You will use some power and hand tools and will be expected to wear all required PPE.

Installation of all types of piping including

Victaulic (grooved), threaded piping, PVC, copper (brazing or pro-press), apex, copperline sets

A FEW DESIRED SKILLS:

Education or experience equivalent to a High school diploma, GED, or completion from trade program or technical school.

1+ years of experience in the construction, refrigeration, HVAC, or other related industry/trade preferred.

Ability to use basic power and hand tools including drills, fuel gas tools, electrical meters, measurement tools, etc.

Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws.

Strong work ethic, safety conscious, and good communication skills
