Waterpark Maintenance Helper - Year Round, Benefits, 30+ Hrs Weekly

Job Summary:

Assist with the rehab, repair, and general maintenance on rides, equipment, and pools throughout Six Flags Hurricane Harbor.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain and trouble shoot chemical pumps

Maintain water chemical inventory

Assist with outdoor paint projects

Assist with annual rehab and new capital projects

Maintain records for maintenance and inspections performed

Work with other departments as needed to complete duties

Maintain compliance with all safety rules, procedures, and regulations

Maintain positive interaction with other employees and guests

Other tasks and duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Possess varied skills including knowledge of general maintenance, water chemicals, and machine shop repair

Must be able to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as scheduled

Must be willing to work outside under various weather conditions

Must be able to handle heavy materials

Highly motivated, self-starter and great time management

Must be able to work with limited direct supervision

Must have own basic hand tools

Must be able to climb and work at heights over 50 feet

Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift regularly

Must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record
