Full-time. Remote. Salary based on experience and location.

What You’ll Do:

Collaborate in the development of sub-category, product, and SKU level pre-season forecasts to meet financial targets by season

Maintains monthly OTB financial plans at subcategory level and ensures sub-category

Monitors and tracks changes to sales and OTB levels and reports on the risk / impact to merchandising strategies and key KPIs

Develops understanding of financial levers and based on strategies, partners closely with merchants to ensure products are ranking appropriately

Revises and maintains in-season product level forecasts

Partners with cross functional team to prepare for key business reporting meetings such as weekly sales meetings, early commit meetings and business reviews

Proactively seeks out subject matter experts to continue to learn and grow

Acts as a champion of change management and process improvement through implements new tools, ideas, and ways of thinking to create team efficiencies

Partners with merchandising and inventory team to manage in-season product appearances based on inventory availability and needs – which includes promotional recommendations and markdown strategy and execution

Informed of corporate financial strategies / KPIs and partners with planning leaders and merchant partners to execute strategies into financial plans and targets

Maintains accurate data in the systems and provides reporting as needed

Partners with merchandising and inventory on color and size mix % and uses historical selling analysis to help determine appropriate mix

Develop and foster strong cross-functional partnerships with Merchandise Planners, Inventory Team, and Allocation and Replenishment Teams

Embraces and learns new tools, systems and processes that ladder to corporate growth initiatives

Partners with Planning leaders and Inventory team to ensure inventory investments are fiscally responsible and support key merchandise strategies

Positive / solution-oriented attitude

Provides ad hoc reports to cross functional partners and leadership as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

Equivalent work experience would be considered

2+ years of experience in retail inventory management and/or inventory planning and forecasting

Planning and Forecasting system experience

Reporting tools experience, as well as Microsoft Excel

Quantitative analytical skills, ability to form conclusions using numerical data

Systems aptitude, knows how and when to use systems to make decisions

Technical knowledge, understands forecasting definitions and formulas

Sense of ownership, approaches company business as if it were their own

Sense of urgency, proactive identification of opportunities and risks

Compensation Range:

$56,000 to $70,000/year

Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
