Work Environment:

The position will be based in our corporate headquarters, near Madison, WI, but it will offer a hybrid work arrangement allowing the flexibility to work a few days a week from home.

What You’ll Do:

Technical Leadership - responsible for defining the overall technical design and architecture of the ERP system. You will work closely with other members of the team to ensure that the design meets the business requirements and is scalable and flexible enough to accommodate future growth and changes.

You will also be responsible for managing the development process, including coding, testing, and deployment

Agile Methodologies - responsible for leading our agile development process. This may include facilitating agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. You will also work with the team to identify areas for continuous improvement and help to implement process improvements

Product Development - work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of our ERP system with other systems and processes. Working closely with business analysts, product managers, and other developers, you will ensure that project goals are met.

Your primary tasks will include developing wireframes and prototypes and working with the development team to build and deploy the final product

Quality Assurance - responsible for ensuring that the solutions developed by your team meet our quality standards. This will include developing and implementing test plans, working with the development team to ensure code quality, and identifying and addressing any issues that arise during the development process

Team Management - responsible for managing the development team, including hiring and training new team members, conducting performance reviews, and providing ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members. You will also be responsible for managing the team's workload and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget

Continuous improvement - work closely with other members of the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that will improve the system's overall performance and functionality

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field.

At least 7 years of experience in ERP system development, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 F&O Certification (or similar ERP).

Strong technical skills in X++, C#, SQL, and .

NET technologies.

Experience with ERP implementation and customization, including configuration and integration with other systems.

A forward thinker that’s self-motivated and is in touch with other technologies, which helps to provide a broader understanding of technology and problem solving.

Deep understanding of business processes and how they relate to technology. You should be able to work with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and recommend technical solutions.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and priorities, and meet deadlines.

Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.

Compensation:

$115,000 to $140,000/Year

Compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
