Summary of Job:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to act as the Lead Estimator for all group projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing information to prepare estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and equipment, as well as reviewing data, ensuring pricing accuracy, and supervising the estimating staff.
They would also communicate company policies, mentor and train employees, set deadlines, evaluate performance, and participate in meetings to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
Education and Experience:
Associates degree or 2 year technical degree program required
Bachelor’s degree in Management or Construction preferred7 or more years of experience as a construction cost estimator required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel and Power Point with the ability to be trained in use of the Company-specific applications and software
Autobid Mechanical and Sheet Metal (formerly Quick
Pen) experience a plus
