Job Summary

Responsible for demonstrating and promoting products to increase sales by educating and informing our members of product features. Merchandise products in innovative and eye-catching ways. Maintain a clean work environment by following company safety and sanitation procedures. Team Members:

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities Serves Members at the sample center. Answers questions and recommends products. Prepares food items for sampling using food preparation equipment, including food utensils, small convection oven, food service warmers, condiment dispensers.

Receives and stores food items in the freezer and cooler. Keeps the food, supply, and sample area neat and clean. Stocks utensils, cups, napkins, condiments, and other items when necessary

Cleans all cooking equipment and areas exposed to food products, including countertops and food preparation areas. Displays, stocks, rotate, and stores products following food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies and procedures. Ensures that all products are fresh and meet company quality standards.

Checks for out-of-date products daily and follows appropriate product salvage policies and procedures. Follows all company safety and sanitation procedures. Breaks down, cleans and sanitizes all food service areas at the close of business. Maintains all club policies and procedures.

Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job

Qualifications

Food service experience preferred. Prior experience working in a customer service environment preferred

At least 18 years of age. Job Conditions

Most of the time is spent moving about frequently on hard surfaces. There may be a need to occasionally position oneself to examine or scan merchandise, including bending, handling, pulling, reaching, and/or stooping. Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds.

May require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects in excess of 30 pounds with assistance. Located in a comfortable indoor area with frequent exposure to temperature extremes and loud noises. There may be occasional exposure to cleaning agents.
