$ 88,000 - 108,000

Senior Level:

$ 115,000 - 141,000

Senior Staff Level:

$ 138,000 - 154,000

Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONProvides governance, oversight, support, and performance of the processes related to License Renewal (LR) implementation of aging management related to 10 CFR 54 after issuance of the renewed licenses at all Constellation nuclear stations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESResponsible for overall coordination of implementation of all Aging Management Programs (AMPs) at stations with first and subsequent renewed licenses

Provides oversight of the preparation activities for NRC inspections related to AMP implementation.

Provides oversight of the projects that prepare the stations to enter their first or subsequent Periods of Extended Operation (PEO).Maintains a working knowledge level and understanding of LR commitments and AMP requirements that support entry into the PEO.

Identifies, reviews, and evaluates internal and external OPEX for potential aging issues.

Provides familiarization on processes to corporate and station personnel on aging management related topics.

Acts as a resource for AMP/commitment owners and station personnel on aging management issues following issuance of the renewed license(s).Acts as the point of contact for industry LR implementation coordinators and working groups (NEI’s License Renewal Task Force).

Leads or participates in industry working group to implement new initiatives

Conducts site visits and/or Peer Calls as appropriate to facilitate consistent implementation of LR commitments and the associated AMPs

Provides consultation in the development of newly identified AMPs. Provides consultation in the development of 10

CFR50.69 Alternative Treatments that impact the LR Implementation Program and station AMPs

JOB SCOPEPossesses specialty skills and performs advanced tasks independently with minimal supervisory review. Performs engineering tasks independently and actively imparts knowledge to others. Higher level of accountability than an Engineer 2

B. Must be able to manage and implement engineering analysis and technical programs. Has wide latitude to make technical decisions within accountabilities.

Programs Engineering:

Monitor, enhance, and implement the LR Implementation program. Identify, schedule and oversee code and regulatory inspections per technical program requirements. Support field execution of programmatic inspections. Prepare required analysis and program documents to support inspection scopes.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Mid-level E02 Engineer

B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years Nuclear or related engineering experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior E03 Engineer

B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 5+ years engineering experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior Staff E04 Engineer

B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 10+ years engineering experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSProfessional Engineer Registration

Advanced technical degree or related coursework
