The Role:

Cognizant seeks to hire a PLM- Windchill Architect to join our Io

T Practice. The Io

T Practice provides PLM strategy, best practice/standards development, deployment, management, and operational support across the pharma/biopharma supply chain. The ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of PLM deployments and configuration with specific experience in PLM implantation, configuration, and customization.

You will be a key subject matter specialist and shall facilitate expansion of system functionalities to meet the digital transformation goals of our organization. The ideal candidate routinely challenges the status quo while providing thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed Life Science domain guidance, advance new product development across formulation, specification, ingredients management, BOM, artwork, label & packaging management, sustainability, quality & regulatory compliance.
  • Provide industry insights and drive best practices aligned to current and future product development.
  • Leverage data elements, data governance, data exchange & integration across the product lifecycle – establish PLM as the single source of truth for product information dissemination across the organization for PIM, ERP, Regulatory & Compliance and E-Commerce needs.
  • Document As-Is and To-be processes, gap analysis, creating transformational roadmaps for implementation and realization of outcomes & KPIs. Business case modeling and change management
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with colleagues across geographies, and teams

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience in the Process PLM space, with hands on industry experience in either the Food & Beverages, Chemicals or Pharma verticals.
  • Program implementation experience in any major PLM platforms such as Windchill, SAP-PLM, Infor Optiva Oracle Agile Prodika, Selerant, Hamilton Grant etc.
  • Travel expected 30-50%; depends on the nature of engagement and project delivery expectations.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and productive; someone who instinctively knows what needs to be done and rallies colleagues to get things accomplished.
  • Insightful with strong problem-solving skills and pragmatic with a practical, “real-world” sense of what is actually “do-able.”
  • Articulate and compelling in his/her oral and written communication skills; engaging and concise with interpersonal “presence.”
  • Energetic, with drive, enthusiasm, and a natural skill in relationship development; an extensive network of potentially relevant relationships.
