Description Come join one of our high performing teams responsible for building and supporting enterprise network infrastructure of the Social Security Administration (SSA) and their mission to meet the changing needs of the public, positively impacting at least 65 million American lives per month.

The Data Center Facilities Engineer will provide onsite support of the customer’s electronic vault site in Lakewood Colorado as part of a 24x7x365 operations staff. Duties include analyze and make recommendations for all hardware installations with regards to the physical and logical constraints of the hardware requirements, document the existing environment using CAD, perform computer facilities space and environmental planning including thermal and electrical requirements, perform cable installation, install and remove equipment, and perform diagnostics and problem resolution.

Position located in Lakewood CO, Shift schedule once training complete is Sunday through Tues 6a-6pm, every other Wed 6a-2:30pm MST.

Foundation for Success (Basic Qualifications):This experience is the foundation a candidate needs to be successful in this position:7 years of experience or more working in a data center as part of a 24x7x365 operations7 years of experience working with Data Center HVAC and Electrical power requirements7 years of experience building and running customer cabling6 years of experience installing and cabling racks5 years of experience working with Nlyte4 years of experience working with CAD software documenting Data Center layouts3 years of experience or more working with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools to work Change and Incident tickets within the Data Center

Experience with:

Data Center planning with solid electro-mechanical

Racking hardware

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tagging of hardware coming into the facility

Complete detailed shift change over reports

Experience Maintaining equipment inventories

Experience with Space and environmental requirements planning

Effective communications and customer service

Research, design and implement security solutions for network infrastructure

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or master’s with 6 years of prior relevant experience.

Pay Range $84,500.00 - $130,000.00 - $175,500.00
