Job Summary

The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for partnering across the Company to identify, develop and measure short and long-term financial objectives. The role will provide financial and operational support to other Company functions to drive sound business decision-making, drive operating efficiencies, and review/monitor/analyze revenue and expenses for profit improvement opportunities.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

  • In collaboration with leadership teams, develops driving financial performance goals and appropriate measurements
  • Manage budget/forecasting process; identifying risks and ensuring alignment with strategy
  • In conjunction with Management, determines appropriate reporting for Executive Management and BOD analyzing business performance
  • Partners with key stakeholders to create and validate capital budgeting decisions (NPV, ROCE and IRR)
  • Identify opportunities to automate and innovate in systems and solutions implementations
  • Partner as a Finance SME on financial programs and projects revenue analysis and contract/proposal reviews.
  • Provides, coaching, mentoring and support for Analysts on the team

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises analysts. Carries out Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, selecting, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

For Exempt Managers:

Managers that carry out these responsibilities for two or more employees will have significant input in hiring and termination decisions.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Finance or Accounting from four-year college or university; and seven (7) years’ related experience and/or training; MBA preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of healthcare services and aircraft operations preferred
  • Previous consulting experience preferred (internal or external)
  • 5+ years of experience developing dynamic financial and operational models
  • 3+ year in a management capacity

  • Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business situations, strategies, theory, processes, management, budgeting and operations

Computer Skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Power

Compensation

Salary Range:

$102,742 - $131,000
