At Hilton Garden Inn Denver South/Park Meadows Area, the Night Auditor assures the highest possible level of visitor and guest satisfaction by providing superior customer service. Responsible for checking guests into and out of the hotel as well as answering phone calls and customer inquiries.
This role has additional responsibilities such as daily paperwork and basic reporting duties.
Responsibilities:
- Check guests into and out of the hotel in an accurate, speedy, and courteous manner
- Handle all payments received whether they are cash, credit card, checks, or traveler’s checks
- Balance and verify all monetary transactions in the appropriate accounts
- Ensure that all hotel keys are distributed to the appropriate parties and that guest privacy is maintained
- Maintain all documentation regarding room registration, changes, charges, credit card transactions, customer service, and maintenance issues
- Resolve escalated guest relations issues when needed
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services
- Respond to and follow-up on all guest requests to ensure customers are satisfied with the hotel’s services and accommodations
- Positively represent and promote the property
- Ensure that the lobby and front desk area is clean, organized, visually appealing, and well-stocked with all necessary supplies
- Properly compile, complete, and distribute reports to management and team as directed
- Report any maintenance, security, or safety issues
- Other Duties as Assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Front desk experience preferred, but will train the right fit
- Experience with the brand a strong plus
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Exceptional customer service skills required
- Must possess strong computer skills
- Ability to move, and occasionally lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
- A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
- Ability to work overnight hours. This is primarily an overnight position
- A flexible schedule that allows availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel
