Overview:
This position leads technology hardware asset management tracking, analysis, and reporting within the Information Technology (“IT”) department of the Bank. Serves primarily as an analytic resource and process owner for hardware asset management. Recommends improvements to existing governance, standards, procedures, plans, controls, and operating metrics to achieve operational objectives.
Leads development of hardware asset-related documentation, data gathering, analysis, and responses to vendor-initiated compliance audits. Develops, maintains, and provides key metrics, dashboards, and KPIs. Determines business requirements, establishes suitable processes, and assists in implementing recommended enhancements while ensuring compliance with all applicable IT and Information Security policies and standards.
Assists in internal and external audits related to processes and license compliance. Responsibilities:
Data Analysis - Researches, compiles, and interprets data. Performs complex data analysis, effectively communicating and directing analysis output.
Reporting - Produces reports based on data mining and analysis. Identifies patterns, opportunities, gaps, and areas of improvement. Conducts other internal reporting projects as needed. May develop process or system enhancements based on reporting, or participate in system testing activities.
Operational Support - Provides advanced support to management, associates, and other key groups via analysis output and asset management expertise. Directs information and process updates. Serves as an analytical expert on tools, metrics, and software utilized.
Assists management with special projects and strategic initiatives. May prepare documentation, presentations, or other materials for business purposes.
Process Support - Develops, maintains, and ensures proper execution of processes and workflows associated with asset management, and includes ongoing maintenance and review as well as asset retirement. Researches and recommends best practices. Assists management in implementing recommended changes and in ensuring compliance.
Partners with IT and business teams to effectively manage technology assets. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Information Technology and Technology Asset Management OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Information Technology and Technology Asset Management
License or Certification Type:
Asset Management certification (e.g. IAITAM) Preferred
Preferred certifications include CITAM and/or CHAMP.
Financial industry experience and experience with Service
Now preferred.
