JOB SUMMARY The Manager, Market Representation, under the leadership of the Senior Manager, Market Representation, will support the Market Representation and Dealer Development goal of continued and consistent development of a strong dealer network. The Manager will manage 1) market representation functions and 2) franchise network and Toyota Dealer Agreements.

The Manager also will take action to enhance cross-functional coordination and expand internal communications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSManage and analyze multiple point dealership transactions including, processing buy/sell agreements, letters of intent (LOIs), Open Points, Major and Minor Ownership changes to include all types of entity structures, de-duals, d/b/a changes, relocations, URL changes, renewals of franchise agreements, proposed changes in general managers, facility actions, and any and all actions that affect Toyota Dealer Agreements (“TDA”) to insure compliance with Toyota Motor Sales (“TMS”) and Gulf States Toyota (“GST”) policies and procedures.

Coordinate with Area General Managers and District Teams to develop individual dealer action plans to correct existing compliance deficiencies.

Interpret and apply Toyota Market Representation Policies and Procedures.

Fully manage, coordinate and communicate market representation actions with dealers and within GST and TMS.

Lead work sessions with dealers, attorneys and CPAs during the management of assigned Market Representation proposals and the impact on the TDA.

Key communicator/Lead with Area Teams.

Analyze existing markets and business opportunities and dealer performance and develop market representation standards, goals, and plans.

Travel to Area Team Meetings to provide updates on Market Representation policies and activities.

Attend Succession Planning sessions with assigned dealers and members of the Dealer Development team.

Provide on-site dealer contact in assigned Areas for more complex transactions and proposals.

Coordinate with various Motor Vehicle Commissions to ensure that Market Representation actions comply with state laws.

Evaluate Dealer Holding Company Ownership compliance as it relates to required ratios, profitability and performance.

Maintain solid understanding and problem solving for shared systems including:

Market Smarts, Market Master On-line, Toyota Workout and Smart

View.

Prepare required reports for submission to GST management and TMS.

Develop and manage any Ad Hoc reporting and special project management as needed.

Provide excellent customer service to our Dealer network and Field Team Associates.

Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle consumer and customer data per applicable policies and procedures.

Review and follow data privacy practices, policies, and guidelines. Other duties may be assigned. Support market study activities for assigned areas.

Support multiple owner and Level II compliance and performance.

Work with Business Management to analyze and support profitable and financially healthy dealership entities.

QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; or five to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions.

The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.
