JOB SUMMARY As part of the SAP Center of Excellence, the Basis Administrator is responsible for providing support and technical guidance for the SAP landscape at GST. This associate will work closely with internal stakeholders and AMS partners to maintain reliable systems for both production and non-production systems.

The Basis Administrator will provide support for applications in both private and public cloud and will be responsible for day-to-day operations support and will have on-call responsibilities for after-hours support. This administrator will support the existing S4 HANA, BW for HANA and ME/MI landscape as well as integrated cloud systems along with the other functions listed below.

They will provide key input for analysis of new technologies with a focus on cost optimization and business value.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSActs as primary SAP Basis support contact.

Primary contact for the administrative support of SAP related software systems.

Work with partners to optimize performance, analyze issues, tune systems, and monitor workloads.

Work with external service providers to administer, maintain, and support hosted\cloud applications and systems.

Work with the service desk to monitor and resolve incidents and requests for support within defined service level agreements.

Assist in the planning, configuration, and installation of all activities undertaken by the SAP Basis support group.

Review and revise existing systems and procedures to drive continuous improvement for alert monitoring, performance monitoring and basis administrative procedures.

Assist with system refresh planning, coordination and continuous improvement to reduce downtime to non-production systems.

Upgrade systems, technical components, deploy support packages and Add-Ons using SUM.

Assist with bringing a focus on continuous improvement for administrative processes such as performance monitoring, system refresh, disaster recovery testing, client strategy and change management.

Deployment of SSL certificates and management scheduling, sequencing, and testing in alignment with change management processes

Monitoring and implementing SAP Security Hot Notes

Testing disaster recovery procedures

Data archiving experience a plus

Research and implement new SAP technologies.

LAMA configuration experience a plus

ITIL / Service

Now knowledge a plus

AWS integration experience a plus

Effectively communicates complex ideas in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in writing.

Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle consumer and customer data per applicable policies and procedures.

Review and follow data privacy practices, policies, and guidelines. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Technologies, or a related field; plus 7+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.7+ years of Basis Administration experience.4+ years of HANA Administration experience.

Deep knowledge of SAP Basis administration for the following SAP Technologies:

HANA 2.0 / S4 HANABWME/MIFiori

Solution manager / Charm

Web Dispatcher

BODS BTPCPI / Cloud Connector
