JOB SUMMARYPerform tax compliance work for S and C Corporations, Partnerships, Trusts, Not-for-Profit Organizations, Foreign Entities, and Individuals. The primary responsibilities will include Federal and State Income and Franchise Tax preparation and other administrative support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSCompliance preparation of federal and state income and franchise tax returns including:

Gathering and analyzing financial information and tax law to calculate tax adjustments

Preparing supporting work papers for each compliance project

Preparing tax returns in tax software Tax returns, payments, and other administrative tasks including:

Processing tax returns, extensions, and estimates

Processing check and electronic payment requests

Submitting electronic payments for various types of taxes

Handling certified mailings and e-filing of various tax returns and forms

Communicate and coordinate with accounting personnel to resolve any questions or issues that arise through data analysis.

Assist in preparation of other tax filings including but not limited to:

sales tax, property tax, excise tax, and FATCA.

Assist in preparation of quarterly taxable income estimates (federal and state) and year-end tax checklists and basis calculations.

Correspond with tax authorities concerning notices and refunds.

Maage tax compliance due date calendar.

Monitor and track information requests and tax compliance calendar assignments. Manage incoming mail with attention to due dates and actions required.

Assist with tracking, submission, and recording of outside invoices.

Other duties as assigned.

Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle consumer and customer data per applicable policies and procedures.

Review and follow data privacy practices, policies, and guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Accounting from four-year College or university. 0-1 years of experience. Internship or related tax experience preferred.

Strong Excel skills and experience using One Source Income Tax RS preferred.

The associate is occasionally required to travel to other sites, including out-of-state, where applicable, for business. The associate must frequently move up to 10 pounds and occasionally move up to 25 pounds.

While the job is generally performed in an office environment, the associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, areas in which moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic or caustic chemicals are present, and outside weather conditions.

The noise level in the office environment is typically quiet, but the associate may be occasionally exposed to loud noise levels.
