TLD ACE GPU Product Line Engineer Ground Power Unit (GPU) Product Line Engineer. Define Sys. Design & Arch. for new product dev. Establish standards, procedures & other docs. in accord. w/ ISO 9001. Maintain currency w/ respect to tech. & superv. skills by attending training classes, special tech.

& admin. courses; seminars, exhibits & trade shows as needed. Manage approved project sched. by coord. w/ Production, Purchasing, & Test Personnel. Control DTC (design to cost) objectives through proper component selection & coord. w/ purchasing personnel. Maintain & nurture Product Line Plan (PLP) for GPUs & ensure implementation of PLP.

Lead (manage & design) new GPU projects by coord. w/ Elec. /Mfg. Eng. design teams, Product Engrs., & Techs. to meet deliverables. Improve existing mfg. process to make GPU product line more productive. Challenge & validate PDC Root Causes & proposed solution. Communicate w/ RANGER program counterpart & participate in coord.

of Regional Assembly Network Global Engineering Resources (RANGER) Program.

Min. Req.: Bach. in Mech./Elec. Eng. or related field, or foreign equiv. 2 yrs eng. design exp. for industrial-type equip., incl. familiarity w/ design methods, eng. materials, & associated mfg. sys. 2 yrs w/ electro-mech. industrial equip., which must incl. some involvement w/ design, mfg., troubleshooting, & deployment.

Works or similar. 2 yrs managing mult. dev. projects& priorities, delegating work to supporting engrs., & meeting tight deliv. timelines. 2 yrs w/ industrial & automotive elec. devices such as power electronics, motors, contactors, circuit breakers, AC/DC converters, rectifiers, transformers, PLC, AVR, sensors or related.

1 yr supervising product engrs. & delegating tasks. Ability to travel to customer site up to 10% of time to liaise & troubleshoot equip.
