An amazing and exciting opportunity has become available to be a Clinical Psychologist for an exceptional and prestigious health system located on the Big Island of Hawaii.

A qualified candidate must possess a Doctoral degree in Psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) approved program in clinical psychology or from an accredited institution with graduate-level training leading to the doctoral degree meeting the requirements of Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR).

They must also have Must have HI LCSW licensure or be eligible to receive HI LCSW licensure (application in process with HI Licensing Board).

This Clinical Psychologist will join a large health system that has been serving patients and communities for over 50 years. With the work of the outstanding staff creating a hospitable environment for patients and each other, this remarkable health system has been able to accomplish and keep at the mission of improving patient lives and health.

This specific hospital offers both inpatient and outpatient services including Cancer Care, Cardiology, Dermatology, Home Health, neurology, and much more.

The Clinical Psychologist will provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention services for adult and/or child members who present themselves from psychiatric evaluation with a broad range of mental health needs. They will also collaborate with the treating physician, psychiatric, and allied health professional team to plan and direct each individual member's treatment program.

The Clinical Psychologist will work closely with behavioral health staff and work alongside very reputable and well-respected physicians in the department. The Psychologist may also supervise Post Master's Fellows, Associate Clinical Social Workers, Associate Marriage Family Therapists or Associate Professional Clinical Counselors as needed if supervision course is completed.
