As Cultivation Lead you will be part of a focused and motivated Leadership Team, assisting your assigned Cultivation Supervisor with all activities and operations of the assigned Cultivation area. We are looking for hard workers who bring their product knowledge and leadership skills, but who are also willing to learn every day and appreciate how our facility runs.

This specialized employee will be accountable for specific areas of operation as assigned and manage the daily workflow of their assigned area(s).

The Lead will effectively communicate with internal/external customers and utilize good problem-solving skills to determine prioritization of workload and tasks to deliver proven results. Candidate will have experience supervising multiple employees over a vast area, managing timelines and executing tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for helping the Cultivation leadership team meet safety, quality and production expectations

Duties included, but are not limited to:

Watering plants, Applying Foliar Applications for pest and mold maintenance (IPM), Manicuring plants, Cleaning of the grow areas, Propagating cannabis (Cloning)

Assign, maintain, control and support the daily workflow of the assigned area(s)

Transplanting cannabis plants, Moving plants through production, Harvesting plants, and Data Entry.

Communicates with Leadership and aids in other areas when not working with required daily tasks.

Maintain plant health throughout the cultivation cycle.

Maintain good agricultural practices.

Maintain accurate records, inventories, and data as needed.

Training, development & performance management of assigned staff.

Full and open scheduling availability is required in order to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, etc. This is not a Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm job!

May require use of respirator in the workplace to protect against exposure to occupational dusts, fumes, mists, gases and vapors; medical clearance and fit testing may be required before use of respirator.

Work Environment

Plant atmosphere

Safety equipment required in plant areas

May be required to assist with pushing and moving of flower racks and tables

Salary$18 - $20 USD per hour

Required Skills

Required Qualifications:

Associates Degree in Horticulture, Agricultural or related field (preferred)

1+ year experience in the cannabis industry; minimum of 6-months in the specific area for which job opening exists

Experience preferably in an operations production/manufacturing environment.

Minimum of 1-year of leadership and/or supervisory experience

Capable of working with minimal supervision.

Understands compliance regulations and adheres to SOPs c

GMP as required throughout the Grow

Healthy site

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Must be 21 years of age.

Must pass a Level 2 Background Screening as required by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, DOH and the Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU).

Competent computer skills including Excel, Word, Power

Point and Outlook.
