Wage:

$45,000 to $55,000

Monday to Friday Day Shift

How you will spend your day as an Assistant Construction Project Manager:

Direct and coordinate all construction activities to include scheduling of material deliveries and labor to obtain optimum efficiency.

Schedule and coordinate production with General Contractors and Subcontractors.

Oversee and direct the work of subcontractors on site.

Ensure quality workmanship to meet customer expectations.

Assist Project Managers to schedule contract draws and subcontractor payments.

Attend weekly subcontractor meetings.

In conjunction with the location manager and the sales manager, develop strong relationships with all customers in the Builders network and promote the organization in the industry.

Initiate meetings and communications with subordinates and customers regarding the resolution of ongoing issues

Enforce compliance with the company safety program to OSHA standards

Maintain a daily journal and a current procedure manual of all assigned duties and complete all documentation and filing to protect future litigation.

Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

Assistant Construction Project Manager Requirements:

Experience. College degree in related field preferred; or equivalent in related work experience. 3-5 years construction management experience.

Communication. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Special Skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Solid leadership and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to details are necessary. Good math and computer skills, written and verbal communications skills required. Thorough knowledge and understanding of residential construction and OSHA Safety regulations.

Ability to understand financial statements; effective planning and scheduling capability.

Leadership. A strong attention to engagement, safety and details of the role.

Physical demands. Lift up to 25lbs and 50 lbs. Randomly stand, walk or sit for extended periods of time. Must maintain an acceptable driving record.
