Our client, a global leader in energy projects, technologies, systems, and services, provides their clients with deep expertise across subsea and surface projects. We are looking for an Installation Analysis Engineer that will be tasked with performing installation analysis, mainly related to the installation of subsea umbilical, riser, flowline, and structures.

This position will be required to contribute to technical scopes within the project/tender team and will be required to support offshore execution by the client for a given project. This position works under the direction of Lead Engineer(s), dedicated to a project, and functionally reports to an Engineering Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation analysis for the installation of subsea umbilical, riser, flowline, and structures.
  • Lead project/tender/study installation analysis scopes and ensure assigned work is compliant with company standards, client requirements, government regulations, and industry standards.
  • Liaise with Installation Analysis Lead to clarify aspects of the work, installation feasibility, and complete tasks within the agreed timeframe.
  • Complete assigned work within the allocated schedule and budget while maintaining company quality and safety standards.
  • Generate technical project reports (such as memos and analysis reports, etc.) and technical presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Ocean Engineering discipline or equivalent (Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-training (EIT) preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the offshore/subsea industry.
  • Ability to obtain TWIC, VISAs, and medical certifications such as BOSIET, UKOOA, and/or OGUK.
  • Proficient in working with Orcaflex and is able to run static and dynamic analysis; working knowledge of programming languages such as Python, VBA, or Matlab is desirable.
  • Experience in the subsea pipeline, umbilicals, and flexible installation analysis engineering and experience in subsea structure installation analysis engineering (lifting, lowering, and landing).
