ASSISTANT CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

Roles and Responsibilities:

Coordinate, schedule and manage all construction management activities, expedite contract requirements on a daily and weekly basis and identify and resolve construction problems as they develop.

Maintain accurate timekeeping and cost records.

Manage material submittals and track long lead items Ensure that material received is properly inspected for quantity and quality, and compliance with specification and approved submittals.

Help the project team to comply with all jobsite reporting requirements, including daily reports, field purchase orders, weekly unit reports, weekly updates to the monthly updates to the construction schedule.

Monitor all shop drawing and submittals for compliance with the contract specification and help project managers comply with the submittal schedule, contract documents and company reporting requirements.

Attend required jobsite meetings.

Maintain safety standards.

Track and monitor project submittals, approvals, schedules, and changes.

Close out the project in compliance with the contract documents.

Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education, Certification:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or Architecture is required.

A minimum of 5 Years of full time progressively responsible work as a technical specialist in one or more construction and design related fields, or a satisfactory combination of education and experience, four years must involve managing all phases of construction work on multiple projects.

Experience new, rehab and modernization construction.

Experience with public agencies work and submittal’s process.
