Leidos is hiring a Program Coordinator to work as part of a team providing the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA’s) cutting-edge research in Cooperative Driving Automation (CDA) technologies at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC), in Mc

Lean, Virginia. The Saxton Transportation Operations Laboratory (STOL) at TFHRC is a state-of-the-art research lab and smart garage dedicated to conducting CDA research and testing. The STOL laboratory enables the FHWA to validate and refine new transportation services and technologies created by Leidos and our partners.

The Program Coordinator (PC) executes PMO activities, and supports the overall development, review, update, and execution of program administrative processes. The PC owns and optimizes processes while ensuring compliance with customer and company requirements.

The PC will work directly with program customers and stakeholders with the authority to resolve issues within areas of program responsibility. The PC will interface with senior program management, program staff, government leadership, and program stakeholders.

Responsibilities may include the following:

Regular communications with program staff, leadership staff, and government leadership, using strong communication and advanced MS Office skills.

Refine and improve processes across the program related to project coordination and execution.

Configuration management of PMO documentation to include plans, briefings, reports, and deliverables.

Management of multiple Share

Point sites and responsible for overall configuration and access for staff, with a focus on easy access and information discovery.

Execute PMO responsibilities including, but not limited to, management of estimate to complete (ETC) files for all projects, delivery of monthly status reports, preparation of monthly status meetings and creation of program Annual Report.

Support and improve overall process and tracking of deliverables across all projects.

Coordinate efforts with Subcontracting office, Contracts office, and Finance office to ensure program level activities and needs are being achieved.

Lead all Business Development activities, proposals, and new project set up.

Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as required by the program.

Basic Qualifications:

BA degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.

Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust security clearance.

Possess a high degree of ethics, strong core values and an optimistic outlook, strong leadership qualities, teamwork, and customer relations skills.

Exceptional oral and written communication and formal presentation skills, the ability to work independently with initiative, creativity, efficiency, and innovation.

Solid skills with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Power

Point.

Experience with Power Query and Power BI.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to be proactive, reliable, and thorough in performance of responsibilities, to include delivery of finished products.

Ability to multi-task and move activities to completion efficiently and quickly.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while concisely briefing stakeholders and management, as needed.

Exceptional organizational skills.

This is a cross-cutting position, integral to the success of all projects and team members. Desire to support in-person operations when beneficial, and utilize webcam, Microsoft Teams, other tools, and practices to optimize availability, efficiency, communication, awareness, and relationships when working remote.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $84,500.00 - $130,000.00 - $175,500.00
