CNC programming

Location : Golden Valley MN

Contract

MUST HAVE SKILL:

• HS Diploma
• 1-2 years’ experience with CNC programming
• U.S. citizenship to obtain and maintain a security clearance
• 2-year technical degree (inclusive of technical degree or machine program)
• Currently enrolled/recent graduates of a machining program offered by an established technical institute or a 2-year technical degree/certi?cation in a machining program/military training
• Pro?ciency with manual lathe and mill

- Understanding and application of machining fundamentals:

CNC programming and set-up experience (Mastercam, Haas, Okuma, Milltronics)

• Working knowledge of metals and other materials and their characteristics
• Knowledge and skills related to metals joinery (welding, brazing etc.)
• Strong computer skills

Key Responsibilities:

-Create new components from different levels of input (drawings; sketches; ideas) -Perform rapid prototyping in collaboration with internal, engineering customers using variety of materials -Operate different levels of machine shop equipment from manual operation to programming numerical controlled
