Six Flags Great Adventure is looking for a Seasonal Public Safety Lost and Found Officers. The Public Safety Lost and Found Officer will be responsible for assisting with coordinating, reuniting of found Items to the rightful owner with an emphasis in guest experience.
Lost and Found is responsible for documenting and notifying the appropriate guest(s) when their lost items are found. All aspects of the position require a high level of integrity and confidentiality while maintaining a safe and secure environment, ensuring all policies and procedures are abided by.
What You Will Be Doing
Must be able to effectively utilize a computer entering Lost and Found reports for the Charger-back system.
Must be able to communicate and answers phones effectively.
Must be able to enforce park policies
Must be able to accurately use a radio to communicate with Security.
Must Promote and maintains a good rapport with all park staff.
Complete any and all tasks as requested by Six Flags Management up to and including working in other areas of the department or park.
Must maintain the highest standards in appearance and uniform up-keep.
Confidentiality and integrity of information disclosed, accidentally discovered or communicated with or without specific instructions to do so concerning guests, employees, vendors, lessees and all other customers.
Must work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Must be availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
Must maintain a safe, friendly and clean, work environment
Must be able to respond to guest questions and comments, by letter, e-mail, or by phone
Other Duties assigned by the Senior Supervisors or the Security Manager

What You Will Need
Must be 18 years or older
Able to lift, carry, and balance heavy loads
Physical qualifications to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs consistently over 25 feet over various surfaces
Must be able to lift and lower 5lbs above shoulder level
