This

Executive RN Director of Women's and Children's will provide oversight of all nursing practices for 5+ departments, including Labor and Delivery, Maternity Services, and the Children's Hospital which includes the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, and Pediatrics.

Responsibilities for this position include ensuring effective and safe patient care across departments, select, hire, orient, and supervise nurse directors, nurse managers, and assistant nurse managers in associated units, conduct leadership meetings, collaborate with other executive level leadership to ensure departmental metrics and goals are being met, oversee budget and materials management, and ensure local, hospital, state, and federal rules and regulations are met.

It is required that this

Executive Director of Women's and Children's has their

BSNand Master's degree in a related field, as well as previous clinical experience in either critical care or surgical services (both would be a plus). It is also a requirement that this RN has an active

NYSRN license and previous nursing leadership experience in a similar sized facility (Level 1 Trauma Center experience is also a plus).
