The Off-Premise Sales Rep will be responsible for calling on an assigned account base to merchandise our inventory throughout the Long Island region as well as assist in sales calls and take part in other company initiatives. This individual will also develop the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to become a Sales Representative.

The objective is to grow the beer and non-alcoholic category in 7-Eleven accounts across Long Island Footprint and improve the wholesaler’s presence by increasing promotional activity, points of distribution, and adding to the account base. The KAR will serve as the singular point of contact for assigned 7-Eleven accounts and will ensure seamless execution and communication between franchisees, suppliers, and the sales teams at Union Beer Distributors.

This position will cover Long Island (Nassau & Suffolk County) territory at 7 Eleven locations.

What you will be doing:

Develop a rapport with an assigned customer base and promote the goodwill of the company.

Ensure that all product is rotated and code policy is followed

Manage and develop relationships with regional 7-Eleven franchisees and district managers in assigned geography through time spent in trade.

Interface with the Sales Manager and Area Sales Manager responsible for positioning our products across 7-Elevens.

Work with Area Sales Manager and Sales Manager to develop and execute a strategy for achieving annual sales and volume growth in the assigned geography.

Travel to account sites throughout Long Island sales territory and take part in meetings as required.

Work with the Director of National Accounts to develop fact-based selling tools and sales presentations.

Implement and execute the marketing strategies of the Company

Assist in handling supplier relationships as required

Execute quarterly goals as related to sales objectives

Maintain and submit monthly control and review reports on a timely basis

Proper merchandising of accounts with permanent and paper POS

Conduct promotions in accounts regularly or when required

Organize and execute floor displays and placement of window neons and banners at all accounts

Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in the assigned area

Other duties as assigned

What you will need to succeed:

Good-humoured team player, that is eager, and motivated to succeed and grow

Bachelor’s degree in business management or marketing is preferred but not required

Intermediate experience with technology specifically with Microsoft Suite, and ability to learn new applications

Ability to communicate effectively

Ability to obtain solicitors permit

Valid and clean driver's license with active auto insurance and reliable transportation

Ability and willingness to work independently
