The Wound Care Nursing Manager CWOCN will be a full-time employee for a large health care system in New Jersey, recognized for their acute care hospitals, outpatient facilities, specialized programs, clinical research, academic teaching facilities, and community partnerships.
The Wound Care Nursing Manager CWOCN will work for a medical center recognized for their full range of inpatient and outpatient services including their Center for Wound Healing, Sleep Care Center, Center for Bariatrics, and Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services.
As the Wound Care Nursing Manager CWOCN, this individual will have clinical and administrative responsibilities of the outpatient wound care center with a volume of approximately 18 patients a day, working alongside the Center Administrator. The Outpatient Wound Center is known for treating:
Diabetic ulcers
Arterial/ischemic wounds
Pressure ulcers
Aytpical inflammatory/vasculitic wounds
Post-surgical wounds
Radiation soft-tissue injuries and complications
Venous stasis ulcers
Traumatic wounds
Burns
The Wound Care Nursing Manger will assist with overseeing day-to-day operations, new-hire education, scheduling, and direct patient care. This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday through Friday from about 8:00am until 4:30pm. Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse License
Bachelor Nursing Science degree
Wound Care/Hyperbaric Experience
Prior leadership experience
CWOCN certification (highly preferred)
