AVP, Underwriting Program Manager

Zurich North America is hiring an AVP Underwriting Program manager to join our Middle Markets Program team! We are open to hiring talent in a hybrid work environment & will consider talent in the following cities:

Chicago IL, Schaumburg IL, Omaha NE, or Atlanta GA. As a member of Zurich’s underwriting team, you will enjoy the opportunity to develop your portfolio management skills and collaborate with many stakeholders.

The AVP Underwriting Program Manager will be responsible for:

Working with stakeholders to resolve issues and concerns for various programs

Assisting with Dashboard completion and Game Plan updates

Supporting the product development process

Executing on referrals from Program Administrators

Project work as necessary

Participate in underwriting, sales, claims meetings

AVP Underwriting Program Manager Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Underwritingor Market Facing area

ORHigh School Diploma or Equivalent and 6 or more years of experience in the Claims or Underwriting Support area

ORZurich approved Apprenticeship program including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Underwriting or Market Facing area

ORZurich approved Apprenticeship program including an Associate Degree and 4 or more years of experience in the Claims or Underwriting Support area

ANDKnowledge of line/s of business and the legal and regulatory guidelines

Knowledge of time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business

Experience with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

Good problem-solving skills

Strong verbal, listening and written communication skills

Ability to handle multiple and varied assignments
