Cardiology Clinic Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)

A fantastic hospital system in Palm Beach County is looking to hire a Nurse Practitioner/PA to theirhospital affiliated Cardiology Outpatient Clinic located just miles from the hospital.

This 230+ bed, state-of-the-art teaching facility is one of Florida’s most respected & preferred hospitals, consistently performing in the top 10 percent of hospitals for patient quality and satisfaction. This non-profit hospital offers a comprehensive continuum of inpatient and outpatienthealth careservices, expertise and specialties, including orthopedics and spine care, cancer care, cardiac and vascular care, stroke, obstetrics & maternity care, pediatrics, emergency care as well as diagnostic imaging, screening, testing and urgent care.

The Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with physicians and other patient care team members, in an active fast pace practice to deliver a variety of health care services to patients and families. Provides direct patient care. Performs diverse procedures and prescribes medications under CDC guidelines and medical protocol.

Provides patient education and counseling. Participates in the marketing, evaluation and growth.

Requirements

Masters degree in Nursing

Holds current licensure in the State of Florida as ARNP

Demonstrates high quality case management abilities and clinical competency from previous experiences in patient care

BLS and ACLS certification through AHA

Excellent human relations and oral/written communication skills

Previous experiencein a cardiology clinic
