This non-profit hospital offers a comprehensive continuum of inpatient and outpatienthealth careservices, expertise and specialties, including orthopedics and spine care, cancer care, cardiac and vascular care, stroke, obstetrics & maternity care, pediatrics, emergency care as well as diagnostic imaging, screening, testing and urgent care.
The Cogito Project Manager inc. Radar & Reporting Workbench is responsible for the overall success of analytics and for the coordinating of analytics tasks across all applications. Project management is the primary role to include managing the Radar and Reporting Workbench implementation and build as well.
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise-wide Radar security policy.
Overseeing and coordinating the triage of analytics needs and the corresponding build.
Setting overall build, security, and data segregation strategies.
Designing, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise-wide Reporting Workbench and Radar security policy.
Establishing and enforcing processes, including request, triage, prioritization, testing, publishing, and validating data requests.
Facilitating application and Cogito team communication to close gaps.
Coordinating with the training team to ensure end?user comfort and happiness with data and tools.
Establishing a process for use of the Analytics Catalog and request tracker.
Identifying and managing the scope of the reporting implementation.
Driving the analytics implementation to meet organizational goals and initiatives.
Measuring ongoing success of analytics after go?live and making necessary adjustments.
Monitoring Cogito team productivity and performance.
Reviewing upgrade documentation related to analytics tools and content and determining how to implement, disseminate, and train the changes.
Deciding which reporting tools to use as new data needs arise, including but not limited to:
Clarity and Caboodle reports; Extract Framework:
Metrics; Benchmarking; Radar; Analytics Catalog Registry Framework and data marts; Reporting Workbench; Slicer
Dicer.
Member of the on-call rotation team.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Math, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field6 years of College or equivalent experience
PMP preferred but not required
Prior experience as an experienced project manager.
Prior experience with reporting and database terminology.
Work history/knowledge of responsibility for the overall success of analytics and for coordinating analytics tasks across all applications.
Prior experience with Epic Cogito, Radar and/or Reporting Workbench a plus.
Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills required.
Knowledge of information systems and personal computers needed.
Project management and process leadership.
Leading, coordinating, and facilitating effective meetings.
Familiarity with reporting and database terminology.
Critical thinking and analytical skills.
Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts.
Proficiency and demonstrated experience with analytics tools.
Familiarity with Epic applications and database structure through training that occurs early in the implementation.
Ability to gain in-depth understanding of the data model through data model classes geared toward content areas.
Ability to understand data structures that could benefit the entire data environment.
For financial reporting:
Prior experience working with a Patient Accounting system is desirable, but not required.
For clinical reporting:
Prior experience working with an EMR system is desirable, but not required.
This is a hybrid role working mostly remote with the exception of certain days required on-site.
