Indian Health Service is hiring for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Phoenix, AZ.

Must be willing to relocate to Phoenix, AZ!

Recruitment Bonus and/or Moving Reimbursement may be authorized in addition to salary.

If Eligible for Recruitment Bonus and/or Moving Reimbursement:

Relocation/Moving Expenses covered and arranged prior to moving with a moving company. Moving Expenses covered up front by IHS. Candidates must work for one year for expenses to continue to be covered.

Recruitment Bonuses up to $5,000 Sign-On bonus awarded immediately, candidates must work the full year.

Pay:

$94,901 - $108,860 per year

Position

Responsibilities

Triage patients for emergency care based on history and physical assessment.

Provides comprehensive nursing care for acutely ill and/or critically ill patients.

Plan, evaluate, or modify treatment based on information gathered by observing and interviewing patients, or by analyzing patient records.

Administers therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician to include, but not limited to, medication administration, intravenous fluids, blood transfusions and other emergency treatments.

Operates and monitors specialized equipment. Initiates and maintains IV therapy including, blood products.

All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must have Registered Nurse (RN)license or certification

A graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program is required.

Must be a US Citizen

1 or moreyears of ER experience

Associate's Degree in Nursing

Must pass pre-employment examination.
