Position Summary:

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing duties directly involving a variety of technical procedures applying to Magnetic Resonance Imaging. This position works at a technical level under limited supervision, independently performing MRI procedures.

Procedures performed require independent judgment, initiative and ingenuity. External contacts include patient, family members and physicians. Internal contacts include nursing service staff and management.

Minimum Requirements:

Previous MRI experience or knowledge of cross sectional anatomy preferred.

Education/Licenses/Certifications:

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Radiology) required

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) upon hire, or within 6 months of hire into this classification

Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health, Radiologic Technologist

Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
