Manager Institutional Trust Administration

Overview:

This position is responsible for the management and performance of Institutional Trust Administration. This role seeks to create strategies that develop new business and enhance the client experience. Directs associates, resources, and activities to ensure prompt delivery of service.

Capitalizes on opportunities to acquire relationships with clients, prospects, and centers of influence. Partners with leadership across the bank to drive the strategic growth and direction of the business. In addition, this role works closely to help drive operational efficiencies for Institutional Trust while maintaining an organization of compliance and regulatory exam success.

Responsibilities:

Fiduciary Oversight - Oversees the Fiduciary Services leadership team and, indirectly, the associates, operations, and servicing efforts within the Personal Trust business. Fosters engagement and partnership between teams and wider business unit. Responsible for budget and financial management.

Represents the Personal Trust business on internal committees. Maintains legal, regulatory, and compliance standards to minimize risk to the Bank.

Business Strategy - Collaborates with Sales Managers on new business development and client acquisition plans for the business. Develops strategies and products aligned with client needs and market demand. Ensures products and processes remain responsive to changing market conditions.

Works closely with executives, wealth leaders and line of business managers to promote and support business offerings.

Managerial Functions - Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff.

Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development.

Collaboration - Establishes and maintains effective, collaborative partnerships focused on partnering with area, regional, and Wealth leadership. Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Banking or Wealth Administration or Wealth service including a supervisory role OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Banking or Wealth Administration or Wealth service including a supervisory role
