Registered Nurse First Assist

A leading acute care hospital located in eastern North Carolina is now seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assist to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This 60+ bed acute care facility combines advanced medical care and innovative technologies in one of the best places to live in North Carolina. This location offers inpatient and outpatient care, expanded surgical service programs, imaging and laboratory services, women’s health, emergency care, and various other services.

The Registered Nurse First Assist will assist the operating room Surgeon during operative procedures and will provide direct care management throughout the perioperative phase. The Registered Nurse First Assist will also act as a scrub and circulating nurse in a variety of surgical procedures, promotes professionalism, and helps develop the surgical nursing team.

This is a full-time position with four 10-hour shifts weekly.

Requirements Include:

Graduate of an accredited Nursing program

Registered Nurse RN license in the state of North Carolina

Progressive nursing experience in a surgical setting, including scrub and circulating
