This

RN Educator will join experienced teams in the critical care units to assist with staff and patient education on the cardiac/telemetry side. Responsibilities for this role include, assisting with staff education requirements and competencies, creating educational content to ensure staff in assigned units are up to date and informed on most current patient care/medication practices, assisting with patient education as it pertains to their disease process/treatment, hold educational meetings for staff, work with leadership on the unit to ensure clinical and quality metrics are met, and analyze infection/medication/care errors to ensure staff are being adequately trained on proper techniques.

It is required that this Nurse

Manager have their

BSN, Masters in a related field, and an active RN NYlicensure. Previous clinical experience in a critical care or cardiac/tele setting as well as previous educator experience is required, and previous level 1 trauma experienceis highly preferred.
