Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more functions of laboratory sections. Maintains records of performance as defined in the Laboratory's general and procedure manuals. Responsible for specific laboratory department policies, procedures and records and ensures that all policies and procedures are performed as defined by all staff.

Performs all services as they may relate to patient care / treatment with consideration for the age/condition of the patient.

EXPERIENCE:

3 - 7 years of experience is required for this role.

EDUCATION:

A Bachelor's in a Life Science is required; A Bachelor's in Medical Lab Sciences is preferred.

CERTIFICATION:

An MT (ASCP) or equivalent certification is required for this role.
