Human Resources – Senior Supervisor
WHAT WE PROVIDE:
This a year-round position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Do you enjoy investigating and helping resolve Team Member concerns?? We're seekinga professional, team focusedand dependable person to lead and actively manage our Team Service Office as a Human Resources Senior Supervisor.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
Manage the daily operation of the Team Service Office; to include team schedules, HR case management, accurate record keeping
Provides support and guidance to HR Generalists, management and other staff on sensitive questions and issues.
Delivers managerial support to assigned staff as applicable, including training, coaching, assignment of duties, professional development and evaluation of performance.
Overseas disciplinary meetings, investigations, suspensions, reinstatements and terminations.
Create and adjust schedules, according to park operating hours and within operating budget.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and recommended best practices--periodically reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Assists employees with timesheet, scheduling and payroll errors.
Executes the Team Six Reward employee program.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Department.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Able to work with minimal supervision, lead Team Service Office staff, manage time/tasks effectively, maintain control over current cases/responsibilities and follows up on all relevant issues. Must have initiative.
2-3 years of experience preforming HR related investigations – preferred
Discrete approach to sensitive, confidential and complex employee relations issues.
Experience with Legion, Optimum8, Smartsheet and Ultipro/UKG software – preferred
Friendly, outgoing personality, and the desire to interact with employees.
Demonstrateproblem-solving skills.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong leadership skills with a sense of teamwork and positive attitude.
Great written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to train others.
OTHER NOTES:
All other duties assigned or necessary to support the park as a whole.
Reports to the department Human Resources Manager.
