OR Clinical Nurse Supervisor

The OR Clinical Nurse

The OR Clinical Nurse Supervisorwill report directly to the Nurse Manager of Surgical Services. This person will feel supported by their Manager and the Director of Perioperative Services, and will lead a fantastic team of Operating Room RNs and Surgical Technologists.

This well developed Surgical Department consists of 12+ state of the art operating rooms and an amazing team who know how everything works. The OR Clinical Nurse Supervisorwill join a department that is known for life saving interventions and excellent patient care, providing procedures that range from non-invasive and robotic, to more complex.

The OR Clinical Nurse Supervisorwill lead efficient patient care throughout all of the operating rooms. This involves keeping staff up to date with current best practices and making sure they are following guidelines set by the hospital. In addition, the position requires collaboration with physicians and managers in regards to operational issues and addressing problems with staffing and equipment as they occur while the General Surgery Lead Clinical Nurse is supervising.

The OR Clinical Nurse Supervisorwill also be expected to develop their staff through education and quality improvement initiatives.
