A Day In the Life Programming CNC brakes, matching bend profiles, machine prep
Equipment used:
combi machine, press brakes, Roper Whitney Shear, RAS programmer, digital Accurshear, etc. Manage production schedule and order processing
Train new and current employees Track and report on:
job hours, build progress, completions, & safety meetings
Work and participate in additional duties as assigned
Ensure the metals fabrication shop is compliant with all safety standards
What We Are Seeking 3+ years experience in manufacturing or similar setting
Experience in unitized glazing and/or metal panel fabrication
Knowledgeable in Sheet Metal manufacturing- aluminum, copper, steel etc. Knowledge in operating RAS & Whitney Roper sheet metal equipment
Extensive experience with bend profiles, sheet metal jigs
Familiar with lean manufacturing and establishing lead times
Knowledge of Microsoft Software; CAD experience is a plus
Strong leadership skills
