The

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner would support Mental Health Programs throughout the Rosecrance Ware Center and Rosecrance Mulberry Center.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 30 hours a week

Qualifications/Skills:

Masters or Doctoral level accredited program qualifying them for licensure in the state of Illinois, and for a controlled substance Registration Certificate (DEA)

Adequate written skills to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames prescribed

Ability to present and coordinate lectures for clients, staff or community

CPR training or complete within three months

Valid driver’s license

Essential Responsibilities:

Perform psychiatric assessment/diagnostics, crisis stabilization, treatment planning, medication management and evidence-based interventions

Develop individualized medication / treatment goals and recommendations based on patient’s mental health needs

Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.

Provide Staff education on appropriate topics, and student education in clinical work

Attend various administrative and team meetings as is appropriate.

Participate in Performance Improvement activities as assigned.

Participate in Infection Control activities and maintain knowledge of current infection control techniques.

Keep apprised of previous or new medical conditions that may affect treatment at Rosecrance

Make appropriate dietary referrals as needed.

Maintain certification in adult and infant/child CPR.

Serve as a member of the assigned Teams and participate in all team meetings and activities.

Understand and comply with all of the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.

Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.

Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management
